• 1/2 cup(s) sugar
• 3 oz lime juice (fresh)
• 5 oz triple sec
• 6 oz tequila
1. For a simple syrup: Heat 1/2 cup water to a boil. Reduce heat and add 1/2 cup granulated sugar slowly and stir until completely dissolved. Then set aside to cool. You will not need it all, but it can be refrigerated for several days.
2. Put ice, 3/4 oz. lime juice, 1 1/2 oz. tequila and 1 1/4 oz. Triple Sec in a shaker. Shake for about 30 seconds and strain into glass. Add simple syrup a little at a time to taste.
3. Repeat 3 more times to make 4 margaritas.
