Ooey-Gooey Butter Cakes

Indulgent and divine. Be sure to pop it in the oven before you eat dinner so you can enjoy it warm!

DIRECTIONS

• 1 box yellow cake mix, light, 16 oz.
• 4 medium egg(s), divided
• 16 tbsp butter, with salt, divided
• 8 oz cream cheese, low fat
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 16 oz confectioners sugar

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Spray 13 x 9 casserole dish with cooking spray. Mix together cake mix, 2 eggs, and 8 T melted butter (1 stick). Pour batter into casserole dish.
3. In mixing bowl, beat together cream cheese, 2 eggs, and vanilla. Beat in remaining butter. Beat in powdered sugar. Spread over cake mixture.
4. Bake for 40-50 minutes. Serve warm!

Note: Variation: Use chocolate cake mix and sprinkle chocolate chips on top before baking.

Yummy! I put green food coloring in the cream cheese mixture for a St. Patty's day treat! Watch them closely as they can brown on top rather quickly towards the end.
