Easy Sticky Buns

These are requested by our families for every birthday or holiday breakfast.
 

INGREDIENTS

DIRECTIONS

• 1 stick(s) butter, with salt
• 1 cup(s) brown sugar
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• 1 cup(s) pecans, chopped
• 3 tube buttermilk biscuits, quartered

1. Combine butter, brown sugar, 2 Tbsp water and cinnamon in a medium saucepan. Heat to a boil. Add pecans (optional). Remove from heat.
2. Stir in biscuit quarters (not quite all 3 tubes) and pour into a greased bundt pan.
3. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Remove from oven and flip over on plate. Slice and Serve.

These sound great and easy but how do you serve? Cut slices? Spoon? A photo would be great.

These are delicious, but are much better with unsalted butter. The butter taste of buttermilk biscuits more than compensates, and the sticky buns are otherwise too salty. Also, I found I had to bake them longer than 20 minutes, or else the middle was raw and undercooked. Consider lowering the temperature to 375 degrees and baking for 30-35 minutes.
